Someone brought plums into work. The red ones were so gorgeous that I decided to paint one. I probably didn't do it justice, but I had to try. I made it oversize so I could play with the reds! What a blast! I did this one with Golden Open Acrylics. They don't dry as fast as the regular Goldens and allow for more play time, so besides layering you can also blend the colors. Go Figure!
